Service Provider Agreement

Hi all,

Recently one of our HCRN member was pressed by the sponsor to provide a Service Provider Agreement for outside Radiology facilities regarding CTs. This sparked some interesting conversation within the network on their experiences and practices.I'll recap here a summary of the exchanges.STG thinks that having a service agreement is sensible - it documents your agreement with the outside entity, but it can be in the form of an email, a verbal agreement, or just a letter, no need for a lawyer driven process. However sponsors has no right to view this, it is a private arrangement between the site and the provider.Lismore has also been requested to provide the same type of agreement for all external entities (radiology, pathology, pharmacy etc.) The sponsor has also provide a document as template. The issue is yet to be resolves but will not be easy or quick and will result in some studies not going ahead.

failed to connect to cloud provider

Hello,

One of my customer (we are service provider with cloud connect) fails to connect when running backup copy job.Only error message is failed to connect to port:6180.No other customer to our cloud connect service has any problems.The customer has only one hyper-v host with 1 VM. We can also telnet to port 6180 to our CC service from the customers network server.

Please help.

Cloud Connect Service Provider

Hi,

We have recently been provided a Trial License to test out being a service provider for Veeam V9, and we've noticed our clients just continuously getting errors when trying to connect to us.We can see traffic coming in and reaching the Veeam Gateway, B&R Machine and Repository, however the clients receive a "Cannot connect to service provider infrastructure error".Have any other service providers been experiencing this issue?We've been onto support and after about 10 hours on the phone, they cannot find any issues with our Network or Infrastructure, which leads me to believe it's an issue with V9 Veeam.If any has experienced this before or has any advice please let me know.

Normal for photog to choose editing service provider?

Hi,

Has anyone heard of a photographer shooting lifestyle portraits, to indicate to a commercial(clothing) client in the contract, their photographs must be edited by a post processing vendor the photographer has chosen? As opposed to handing off photos to client with just the normal batch edits for WB, etc.?

Please help.

Providing a copy of coverage to client?

Hi,

My client has asked me to provide a copy of my business coverage to the vendor, but also a copy to himself. I raise an eyebrow! I do not have a problem providing this information to the venue directly, but I do not think this is necessary to provide to my client directly. I have never been asked by a client to provide them with a copy, so I am not sure if this is a good decision. Has anyone else provided a copy of coverage to their client?

Please help.

Hi,

Yes I realize there is separate thread for website questions, but I already have a photo site up, however I am just not happy with the performance or reliability. So I am posting here as more of a business question than a technical one.I'm beginning to get the feeling that high end pros do not use 'turn-key' sites as much as the providers of these sites seem to suggest. Am I wrong about this?I'm interested in how pros deliver their images for proofing and for the selling prints. I'm beginning to think a regular web site with galleries, combined with a separate order-fulfillment site and or dropbox or google drive might be a better way to go. Thoughts?

I love taking nature, landscape, and architecture photos, but I don't think there is much business in these areas. So, my question is how did you find your niche or the type of photography on which you built your business?
